CAL FIRE responds to solo vehicle crash, driver expected to survive

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. (KION-TV)- CAL FIRE CZU said that a driver was hospitalized after a solo vehicle crash on Highway 17 near Glenwood Drive.

The crash happened just before 2 a.m. on Wednesday morning. California Highway Patrol said that the driver suffered minor injuries and is expected to be okay.

KION is waiting to hear on what let up to the crash but CAL FIRE CZU said the driver was the only occupant inside the vehicle.

CAL FIRE also said that they want drivers to slow down in the rain and fog to avoid crashes.
