LOS ANGELES (AP) — Looking for something to watch this holiday season? 2023 was a great year for music documentaries. Here are 10 of the best, as determined by The Associated Press Music Writer Maria Sherman. From the double-header of “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé” and “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” to titles about Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” turning 40 and the legacies of Wham!, Biz Markie, and Little Richard, there’s something for everyone here. And we mean everyone: fans of Suga from the K-pop group BTS, Wynonna Judd, arty indie music collectives in the ’90s, and dangerous post-punk from Australia won’t be disappointed.
