22 years later: Ceremonies across the nation and on Central Coast honor lives lost on 9/11

SALINAS, Calif. (KION-TV) -- The memories of a horrific day in American history are brought to light again as the U.S. mourns the almost 3,000 people who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

The City of Salinas held a ceremony honoring the lives lost. KION Chief Photographer Calista Silva was there to provide the sights and sounds of the event.
