TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Accelerate Diagnostics Inc. (AXDX) on Wednesday reported a loss of $14.8 million in its fourth quarter.

The Tucson, Arizona-based company said it had a loss of 14 cents per share.

The maker of systems that diagnose drug-resistant infections posted revenue of $3 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $62.5 million, or 76 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $12.8 million.

In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, the company’s shares hit 50 cents. A year ago, they were trading at $1.48.
