CHP identifies Josh Turner road crew member killed in Shandon bus crash
The CHP has identified the member of Josh Turner’s road crew who was killed in a tour bus crash in Shandon late Wednesday night.
Investigators said David Turner died when the bus went off the highway, through a dirt shoulder, through a barbed wire fence and off a 50 foot cliff. The CHP did not specify David Turner’s age or where he is from.
Josh Turner, a country and gospel singer, and his band were not on the bus. Two passengers sustained major injuries and five had moderate injuries.
The trip followed a concert at the Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles.
