Man found asleep in vehicle stolen during car jacking in San Francisco
Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office officials say while patrolling the area of lower Highway 9 near Rincon, one deputy came upon a subject sleeping in a vehicle.
Further investigation found the vehicle had been stolen during a car jacking in San Francisco.
The subject sleeping in the vehicle was arrested without incident and the investigation is ongoing.
Officials say they appreciate San Lorenzo Valley residents and their patience as they waited on Hwy 9 until they could make the scene safe and allow traffic to flow smoothly once again.
