FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — A person with knowledge of the situation told The Associated Press that New York Jets wide receiver Elijah Moore has requested to be traded. Moore recently expressed frustration with his suddenly limited role. Coach Robert Saleh said Moore was excused from practice Thursday by the team to be with his family to attend to a personal matter. Moore spent the day away from the facility and has asked to be dealt. But the Jets have no plans to trade him. The person spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because details of the conversations were private. NFL Network first reported the request by Moore to be traded.
