Beach advisories issued for Monterey Municipal Beach and Lover’s Point

Monterey County has issued a beach advisory for Monterey Municipal Beach and Lover’s Point.

The county said bacteria levels have exceeded health guidelines and is asking the public to stay out of the water.

All other Monterey County beaches are open without restriction.
