Two pedestrians hit on West Alisal Street Wednesday morning
Two people were taken to the hospital with injuries Wednesday after police said they were hit in a crosswalk.
It happened on West Alisal Street at around 8 a.m.
Salinas police have closed West Alisal to westbound and eastbound traffic while officers investigate the crash.
Police remind people to slow for the cone zone and pay attention in busy areas.
