Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputies arrest man allegedly found with stolen truck

The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man after they said he was found with a stolen truck.

The Sheriff’s Office said a friend of the truck’s owner saw Dustin Woida driving it on Soquel Drive and called deputies. They responded and found Woida near the truck.

Deputies said Woida tried to run into a nearby apartment complex, but they caught him. They said he had the truck’s keys in his pocket and a no-bail warrant in his name.

Woida was booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle, for the warrant and for possession of a concealed fixed-bladed knife.
