UPDATE: Watsonville DUI suspect identified

UPDATE 7/17/2019 1:55 AM: The driver who crashed his car into at least three parked vehicles on Blackburn Street in Watsonville had a blood alocohol level over twice the legal limit, according to Watsonville police.

Eduardo Racine, 30, was arrested late Monday on felony DUI charges and booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail.

A second man, who was a passenger in Racine’s car, was stuck in the vehicle and required assistance from Watsonville firefighters. He was taken to the hospital for a leg injury.

Police say no one else was injured.

One man is in jail, and a second person is hurt, after a late night accident in Watsonville.

Police arrested the driver for DUI, after he crashed into several parked cars on Blackburn Street around 11:30 p.m. Monday.

A passenger was taken to the hospital with non-serious injuries.
