Salinas woman sentenced to prison for role in 2018 homicides
A Salinas woman was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison in connection with the murder of Ernesto Garcia Cruz at El Dorado Park in 2018.
Alexandra Romayor, 19, pleaded no contest to second degree murder charges for Cruz’s death. Romayor also pleaded no contest to being an accessory after the fact and a gun charge in connection with the 2018 murder of Lorenzo Gomez Acosta near Klamath and Cascade.
Romayor and her boyfriend, 20-year-old Santos Fonseca were linked to the homicides. Fonseca is awaiting trial.
