Amtrak hits car on railroad track in Salinas
An Amtrak train is stopped after it hit a car Tuesday afternoon.
This happened near Highway 101 and Somavia Road. The driver was the only person in the car at the time of the crash, and they made it out. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
It is not clear how long the train will be stopped there.
