Santa Cruz County deputies make gun and drug arrest
Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two men Monday, after finding them with drugs and a loaded handgun.
Deputies say they stopped Austin Turnell for vehicle code violations and determined Turnell was in illegal possession of a loaded Glock 19 9mm handgun.
A passenger, Thomas Robb, was found with drug paraphernalia and illegal narcotics.
Austin was arrested and the handgun was seized. Thomas was cited for various narcotic offenses.
