Man pleads guilty to inappropriate sexual conduct with seven minors, four impregnated
A 20-year-old Madera man has pleaded guilty to eight counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, one count of oral copulation with a minor and one count of violating a court order.
The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office, Soledad police and Gonzalez police worked together to investigate the case.
Officials say Angel Vasquez had sexual intercourse with seven minor females between the ages of 14 and 17 years old when he was between 18 and 19 years old. Vasquez impregnated four of the teens, but three had miscarriages.
A Monterey County judge ordered Vasquez not to have contact with the girls, but the District Attorney’s Office says he continued to contact three of them.
Vasquez faces up to four years and four months in prison and will have to register as a sex offender. He will be sentenced in July.
