Man arrested in Sand City for having stolen mail from three counties

A man was arrested in Sand City for having stolen mail, stolen checks, debit cards and drugs.

On Tuesday, Sand City Police found Steven Lisch on the 600 block of California Avenue. Police say they were looking for him because he is a convicted felon with an outstanding felony warrant out of Napa County.

Police found Lisch with a quarter of an ounce of meth as well as stolen mail, checks and a trust fund check amounting to more than $140,000.

During the investigation, police found out that the mail theft happened in San Luis Obispo, Santa Clara and Napa Counties.

Lisch was booked into the Monterey County Jail.
