Investigators in Los Angeles county search for missing teen, may be with murder suspects

Homicide investigators with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are searching for a missing teen who was last seen with two murder suspects.

Alora Benitez, 15, is a Hispanic female last seen Wednesday around 9 a.m. in Torrence. She was seen leaving with both suspects in a white 2013 BMW sedan. It had the Nevada license plate “MARIMAR,” but investigators say that may have been taken off and replaced with an unknown paper plate.

The two suspects are wanted in connection with a murder and are considered armed and dangerous. Roman Cerratos, 39, is described as a Hispanic man. He’s 6’1″ and 210 lbs. He is bald with brown eyes.

Mercado is described as a Hispanic woman. She’s around 5’3″ and 130 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes.
