Teenager attacked on Greenfield middle school campus
A teenager was brutally attacked in Greenfield and it was all caught on camera.
The teen’s mom said it happened at Vista Verde Middle School.
The mom said she pulled her son from school after seeing the shocking video.
The video shows two boys walking side by side on campus when one boy shoves the boy next him and tackles him to the ground.
“He didn’t tell me it was the way it is on the video,” said the teen’s mom.
The boy’s mother wanted to remain anonymous and not show her face on camera, but she told KION she found out about the video when a police officer came to her home to investigate.
“He was like yeah there’s a video sharing on snapchat and I was like no I don’t know what you are talking about so he showed me the video and I was in shock because I didn’t know it was something like that.”
The mother said the boy was left with bruises after the attack.
She also said there was no nurse on campus the day of the attack and her son didn’t received the proper medical care. She also feels the person she says attacked her son has not gotten the proper discipline.
“The principal promised me that on Tuesday when my son came back to school that the child wasn’t going to be in the same class and then this child was bullying my son again, you’re a snitch you’re a chicken.”
She said the district gave the boy in house suspension and she wants more action taken. She will not send her son back to school until that happens.
KION reached out to the district for comment, but have not heard back yet.
