Four burglary suspects arrested following pursuit in Watsonville

Watsonville High School was placed on lockdown Monday morning while authorities searched for burglary suspects in the area.

According to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle pursuit took place after four burglary suspects sped away from a home in Watsonville.

Three suspects were detained around 11 a.m. Deputies found the fourth suspect less than 20 minutes later. All four suspects were arrested.

The lockdown at Watsonville High was lifted around 11:15 a.m.
