Two-time murderer Kimberly Labore denied parole
A woman convicted of torturing and killing a Santa Cruz County man in 1998 was denied parole today in Chowchilla.
Kimberly Labore and three friends entered 58-year-old Kelly Chilcote’s home in Watsonville then tied him up and tortured him for hours before finally stabbing him to death.
Labore was sentenced to 60 years to life. She applied for a pardon from Governor Jerry Brown, which she got last February making her eligible for parole.
On Thursday the court denied it. The victim’s family was at the hearing fighting the decision and said they are relieved she will not be released
