No street addresses in some Carmel homes presents challenge for first responders

Carmel-by-the-sea takes pride in its history and one of its traditions includes no street addresses. Most homes in Carmel-by-the-Sea don’t have a street number, which can make it difficult for anyone trying to find a house.

It can be challenging for first responders too. How are they able to locate a specific house when there’s no address?
