Watsonville man arrested for guns and stolen cars
A Watsonville man is behind bars for having guns and stolen cars.
The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office found them during a search on the 100 block of Rache Road Thursday night.
Deputies found 31-year-old Jesus Chavez with an illegal short barreled rifle, handguns, high capacity magazines, ammunition and several stolen cars.
Chavez was booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail, and his bail is set at $25,000.
