Marina Police looking for attempted armed robbery suspects

Marina Police are searching for a male and female, following an attempted armed robbery.

On Wednesday morning, officers were dispatched to a report of an attempted armed robbery at the Jack-in-the-Box on Reservation Road.

It was reported a male and female entered the business and approached the counter. The male suspect showed what appeared to be a handgun in his waistband and the pair demanded money from employees.

When the manager approached a few seconds later, the suspects turned around and ran for unknown reasons. They left without any money, but were last seen leaving on foot to the east through the shopping center.

The male suspect was described as Hispanic, around 18-22 years of age, 5’8″ – 5’10” tall, medium build, medium skin tone, light mustache, and wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt with a white logo on the left chest area..

The female suspect was described as Hispanic or African-American, around 18-22 years old, 5’3″-5’5″ tall, slim build, and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
