Firefighters rescue deer tangled in power line

Firefighters celebrated after rescuing a deer caught in power-lines, while battling a wildfire in Northern California.

Oregon firefighters Mohawk Valley Fire Department traveled to Paradise, California to help fight the Camp Fire. They’re tasked with a variety of objectives, like putting out hot spots, flagging trees and calling animal control for distressed pets.

A Pacific Gas and Electric worker came across a deer entangled in downed power-lines and asked for help.

The four man crew from Mohawk Valley RFD successfully freed the deer and let it return to the wild.
