Truck carrying pool cleaning chemicals rolls over near Bradley

A pickup truck carrying hazardous pool cleaning chemicals overturned near Bradley Tuesday morning.

Cal Fire said it happened at 9:31 a.m. on November 13th on Indian Valley Road, five miles south of the Hare Canyon Road intersection.

When firefighters got there, they found the truck on its roof with the chemicals scattered on the roadway. The truck was carrying 25 gallons of the chemicals.

The driver was not hurt.

Clean up of the chemicals was later turned over to a representative of the company transporting them.

Cal Fire had help from the Gonzales Fire Department with their Breathing Support Unit, Salinas City Fire Department with their Haz Mat Response Unit, Seaside Fire Department, The California Highway Patrol, San Luis Ambulance and Monterey County Environmental Health Department.
