Fire breaks out at a marijuana greenhouse facility in Salinas
A portable trailer caught fire at a marijuana greenhouse facility in Salinas.
It happened late Friday afternoon at a facility on Alisal Road and Hartnell Road.
Firefighters said the flames did not reach the greenhouses, but crews had to try and quickly remove potting materials nearby.
The Monterey County Regional Fire District, Salinas and Gonzales firefighters helped put out the fire.
There was no water supply on the property yet as required so crews had to pull water from nearby properties.
No one was hurt and the cause is under investigation.
