Gun taken off the streets after search warrant served at Salinas home
Another gun is off the streets after officers with the Violence Suppression Unit Task Force searched a home in Salinas.
According to Salinas Police, officers and state parole served a search warrant in the 1800 block of Cherokee Drive on Monday, October 8th.
The search warrant was a follow-up from an arrest on September 21st. Police said that’s when Ramon Cervantes was taken into custody.
During Monday’s search, they found a loaded .38 caliber revolver, gang indicia and 35 rounds of ammunition.
