Three car crash causes major delays on Hwy 1 north of Marina

Drivers can expect major delays following a three car accident on Highway 1 north of Marina.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of Highway 1 near Twin Bridges around 9 a.m. Thursday.

A BMW reportedly flipped into the center divide.

First responders are on scene.

Injuries are unknown at this time.

Witnesses said traffic between Del Monte and Nashua Molera Road was completely stopped.
