30 year old man killed after being struck by vehicle in Corralitos

UPDATE: 30 year old Corralitos man killed after being struck by a vehicle on Corralitos road north of Varni Road.

According to CHP, a 27 year old Corralitos woman was questioned as she was the driver of the vehicle which struck the man on Sunday night at around 9 pm.

Both the driver and pedestrian were traveling south on Corralitos when CHP says the driver’s vehicle veered off the roadway and struck the pedestrian who was walking along the side of the road.

According to CHP the driver has been cooperating with the investigation.

CHP says the driver was evaluated to see if drugs or alcohol were involved but based on test results she was not placed under arrest.

At this time no one was arrested for the incident however CHP says they’re still investigating.

One person was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Corralitos on Sunday night, according to the California Highway Patrol. Officials with CHP said that a person was hit by a car off Corralitos Road around 9:06 p.m.

Corralitos Road has been closed between Varni Road and Aldridge Lane. There is no word on when the street will reopen.
