Salinas police searching for missing teen

Salinas Police are asking the public for help finding a missing teen.

According to Salinas Police, 17-year-old Reyes Trejo Hernandez was reported missing on August 6th after he willingly left his home.

Police were then told Hernandez was seen a few days later on August 10th in Gorda on Highway 1 near the Monterey/San Luis Obispo County line. He was apparently seen with a Hispanic man in his 30’s, 6’4″. 240 pounds with a buzz style haircut. The man was wearing a white t-shirt and jeans. Hernandez was described as wearing a maroon t-shirt with jeans.

However, officers did not find Hernandez in the Gorda area.

Salinas Police are asking anyone who has been in contact with Hernandez or has any information on his whereabouts to call them.
