Man struck by car on Ocean Street in Santa Cruz

A 66-year-old man is in critical condition after getting hit by a car in Santa Cruz.

According to Santa Cruz PD, the accident took place in the 900 block of Ocean Street near Blaine Street around 8 p.m. Sunday (9/2).

The driver, a Santa Cruz resident, was in a yellow 2009 Mini Cooper and remained at the scene when officers arrived.
