Grandmother wrangles pythons
A brave elderly Australian woman wrangled with two pythons after they were discovered in a barbecue stove in a Queensland home on Sunday (August 26).
Video shared with Reuters showed the woman, Faye Morgan, 81, pulling the snakes out and dumping them into a plastic container before the lid was shut tight by her granddaughter’s father-in-law, Marc Wright.
Morgan has spent her whole life on a farm and was no stranger to snakes, local media reported.
“I said goodbye to them, and said ‘I hope you have a lovely life’ when I relocated them,” she told the snakes.
Jackson Wright, who filmed the video, told Reuters that they saw a snake go in the pit on Saturday (August 25) night but only discovered that there were two on Sunday.
