Marina Police investigating two overnight robberies
Marina Police are investing two robberies that happened in the area overnight.
At around 4:30 Saturday morning officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven on Reservation Road. The store clerk said that the store was robbed at gunpoint.
There were no injuries in that robbery.
There was also a strong arm robbery near the 3200 block of Martin Circle.
Police say an unarmed suspect robbed a senior and stole a purse at around 10:15 Friday night.
The person robbed was battered.
Officers are still actively investigating these robberies.
They ask that if anybody saw or heard anything, that they contact the Police Department.
