New Jordan Peele movie ‘Us’ looking for extras in Santa Cruz

Universal Pictures is looking for extras for Jordan Peele’s new thriller “Us” in the Santa Cruz and surrounding areas.

The film stars big names like Elisabeth Moss and “Black Panther” stars Winston Duke and Lupita Nyong’o. Peele made his directing debut for his award winning 2017 horror movie “Get Out.”

Casting directors are looking for hundreds of extras, both men and woman to play characters aged 9 and up. Extras will be paid and fed. The pay rate is around $106 for 8 hours plus overtime. Shooting begins in mid-September.

Applicants need to send a recent photo, contact information, clothing size and location to deepcutsmovie@gmail.com. Minors will also need a signed parent permission slip as well as a California state work permit.
