Two earthquakes in California

Two earthquakes happened Tuesday in California.

The smaller of the two happened on the Central Coast, at 2:52 PM. It was a magnitude 3.5 earthquake which had a depth of 4 miles. It happened nearly one mile west of Parkfield, in Monterey County. Only a few have reported feeling this quake.

The second earthquake happened in Southern California at 6:24 PM. This was much bigger with a magnitude of 4.4. It happened near Aguanga. It is located within the Inland Empire, Riverside County. Though it had a shallow depth, so far, it has over 3,000 responses on the USGS website.
