Firefighters, helicopters quell Hollywood Hills brush fire
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Los Angeles investigators are seeking the cause of a fire that scorched an acre (0.4 hectare) of brush in the Hollywood Hills.
One hundred Los Angeles firefighters responded along with helicopters when the fire erupted Monday night east of Universal Studios.
The ground crews and precision water drops by helicopters stopped the fire’s forward progress in 75 minutes, said fire spokesperson Brian Humphrey.
No structures were damaged.
