Mini golf pub targeting a February 2024 opening for Cannery Row location
MONTEREY, Calif. (KION-TV) - UPDATE ON DEC. 28, 2023 AT 1:16 PM- Mini golf enthusiasts will have to wait a little longer to putt on a new mini golf course.
Jennifer Robinson who is the public relations director for Tipsy Putt Mini Golf Bar and Restaurant said that they are targeting a February 2024 opening date.
Robinson told KION that they had originally planned to open by October 2023, however they had a delay in installing signage on the building.
The City of Monterey Planning Commission and Tipsy Putt agreed that they would have four signs on the facility.
The facility will be at 95 Prescott Avenue which is where the old Cannery Row Brewing Company was.
Mini golf pub grand opening on Cannery Row to start construction in June
UPDATE June 6, 2023, at 12:48 p.m. The highly anticipated Tipsy Putt Mini Golf Bar and Restaurant announced Tuesday when it plans to start construction for its Cannery Row location.
Construction is set to commence on June 20th, and it will be the 5th location to open.
"There is no better fit for Tipsy Putt than on Cannery Row. The Monterey Peninsula is arguably the greatest golfing & craft beer destination in the world. Bringing our challenging competitive mini-golf combined with the outstanding food and beer make us the perfect 19th hole destination" states Founder Brandon Robinson.
The plan is to have the location open by the Fall of 2023 at the end of October.

UPDATE Feb. 16, 2023, at 11:10 a.m.- The highly anticipated Tipsy Putt has pushed back its opening date on Cannery Row.
The company has listed on its website the location planned for 95 Prescott Avenue will now be openings its doors in late 2023.

Tipsy Putt gives mini-golfers an excuse for shooting poorly by adding a pub to the mix. The company will add its fourth location to Monterey's Cannery Row in the Fall.
The craft brew pub and restaurant adds mini-golf and other games, local art, a large patio, multiple party spaces, and a secret speakeasy hidden in plain sight.

boutique shops, restaurants, and award-winning hotels, attractions, and entertainment centers
along the world-famous Cannery Row," said Bill Grimm, Chief Operating Officer at Cannery Row
Company.
There are locations in Tahoe and Sacramento, with two other sites planned for Sunnyvale and Emeryville.
All ages are allowed until 8 p.m. when it is 21 and over.
