Woman arrested in Scotts Valley for possession of stolen car and dead owl
Scotts Valley Police arrested a woman who they found with a stolen car, stolen credit cards and a dead owl.
She was pulled over when officers noticed that her license plates did not match the car and that the ones on the front and back did not match.
During a registration check, they discovered that the car had been reported stolen in Santa Barbara earlier in the day.
During a search, they found the victim’s stolen credit cards that had been used, various stolen items and a dead owl.
Christen Aceves, who lives in Goleta, was arrested and charged with possession of a stolen car, fraudulent use of a credit card and possession of a dead bird of prey.
