Hollister man arrested for burglary after home invasion

Hollister Police arrested a man for burglary after he was seen leaving a house by neighbors.

The burglary happened on July 4th near the 1500 block of Cushman Drive in Hollister.

A neighbor saw Joseph Girardin leave a house carrying items and called Hollister Police.

Officers contacted the homeowner, who confirmed that the items had been taken.

Another neighbor recorded the theft and gave the video to police.

A San Benito County Deputy found Girardin, who fit the description, and told the officer investigating the burglary.

Girardin was found with the stolen items.

He was arrested for burglary, having burglary tools and for having stolen property.
