Two cars and big rig catch fire overnight in Salinas
Two cars and a big rig caught fire overnight in south Salinas.
The fire was first reported around 1:30 a.m. on private property off Zabala Road near Alisal Road. Monterey County Regional Fire officials told KION it appears all three vehicles were parked when the fire started.
Fire crews were able to put out the flames, but say the vehicles suffered extensive damage.
No one was injured.
Officials said an investigation is underway and would not speculate on the cause of the fire.
