Teen arrested for gang and gun charges in Salinas

A 15-year-old has been arrested for gang and gun charges.

The teen went up to a person and asked for his gang affiliation.

This is in the area of E. Laurel Drive and N. Sanborn Road.

The victim said he did not have any gang affiliation before walking away and calling police.

Officers found the teen, and during a search they found a concealed and loaded gun in his waistband.

He was arrested by officers and lodged.
