Salinas man sentenced to 22 years for armed robbery of K-Mart

A Salinas man is facing 22 years behind bars for robbing a K-Mart at gunpoint.

In October of last year, Shaun Doyle Fowler passed a note to one of the clerks at the K-Mart on Davis Road in Salinas.

In the note, he demanded money and threatened that he had a gun.

The clerk was able to see part of the gun, so he gave Fowler $100.

Fowler was found the next day at Sherwood Park.

His distinctive facial tattoos helped police find him.
