3 injured in Highway 101 accident near Spence Road
Three people have been air lifted to the hospital after a major car accident on Highway 101 near Spence Road.
CHP reports that a Ford F-150 attempted to turn left and broadsided a Dodge traveling northbound.
The driver of the Ford and both the driver and passenger in the Dodge were flown to hospitals.
The man and woman in the Dodge have lower body injuries including possible leg and pelvis fractures.
CHP says that the Ford was traveling at a high rate of speed, but have not confirmed how fast.
They do not believe that drugs or alcohol were a factor, and no arrests have been made.
