Man arrested for stealing food distribution truck
A food distribution truck filled with perishable food was stolen yesterday in the Pajaro area.
After searching for several hours, the victim saw someone driving it in the Corralitos area and called it in.
Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to where it was found in the 2900 block of Freedom Boulevard and arrested Mark Lopez.
Lopez tried to run away, but was caught with the keys still in his pocket.
He was booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail, and the truck was returned to its owner.
