Daytime burglaries on the rise in Morgan Hill

After an increased number of residential burglaries, the Morgan Hill Police Department is asking for the publics help in identifying suspects caught on camera.

MHPD said they’ve responded to several daytime residential burglaries over the last week. The most recent burglary was reported around 11 a.m. Tuesday.

The suspects and accomplices vehicles were captured on surveillance video.

According to police, the suspects are known to park their cars in a neighborhood and walk to the front door of a home, knock and break in.

“The suspects have stolen jewelry, cash, firearms and anything else small enough to carry to their awaiting vehicle,” said MHPD.

Residents are advised to lock valuables in a safe.
