Self-proclaimed gang member arrested for guns, drugs

A Salinas man and self admitted gang member is behind bars after Monterey County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested him for selling crystal meth and gun possession.

He claims to be affiliated with the North Side Castroville Gang.

Gustavo Lozano was seen carrying a handgun in his waistband and the witness reported him to deputies.

A S.W.A.T team got a warrant to search his house and found a loaded .45 caliber handgun, an AR-15 style rifle, over three hundred rounds of ammunition and 6.5 ounces of meth.

Lozano was arrested and booked into the Monterey County Jail.
