Authorities in Northern California say a teenager and a 9-year-old are among the three people killed in a multi-car crash that authorities say was caused by a man allegedly under the influence of marijuana.
The Alameda County Coroner’s office on Wednesday identified the victims as 14-year-old Christy Limas and 9-year-old Brooke Limas.
The California Highway Patrol says the third victim was a 39-year-old woman but her name has not been released. All three are from Manteca, 75 miles (120 kilometers) east of San Francisco.
KGO-TV reports 21-year-old Nguyen Hai Tran was driving a car involved in the crash and was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of marijuana.
