High levels of bacteria found at Lovers Point Beach

High levels of bacteria were found in the water at Lovers Point Beach in Pacific Grove.

The beach was posted with an advisory after samples taken on May 14 found a high indicator of bacteria.

Health officials said the beach will remain posted until samples indicate bacteria levels are safe for the public to get in the water.
