Morgan Hill teen fights off would be kidnapper

The Morgan Hill Police Department released a sketch of a man who attempted to kidnap a boy on his way home from school.

A 15-year-old boy was walking home from Sobrato High School located at 401 Burnett Ave. when a man came from behind and grabbed him. The teen was able to fight the man off and ran to a relative’s house nearby.

The attempted kidnapping occurred around 3:15 p.m. Thursday. (5/10)

The suspect was described as a white man, light skinned, about 6’4″ tall with wavy hair and a thin build. He was wearing a white T-shirt and may have been associated to a black mid-2000’s Ford sedan that was parked on the street nearby.
