Crash near Shark Fin Cove causes major injuries
A car accident south of Davenport has left at least one person with major injuries.
It happened on Highway 1 north of Panther Beach near Shark Fin Cove.
A witness says a white SUV was going at a high rate of speed before it swerved out of the southbound lane and hit a car in the northbound lane.
The SUV hit the other car head on.
It is still unclear why the car swerved, and the extent of the injuries has not been released.
Drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash.
